Urana Bowling Club Limited
Established in 1956 Urana Bowls Club has a long and proud history in the sport of bowls. The George P Williams Green, (now Synthetic) running at 16.5 seconds is available year round.
Our Clubhouse has had numerous extensions and upgrades and we now boast a very comfortable air conditioned and/or heated environment for our 180 members and visitors .
Our facilities Include :-
Licensed Area with Bar, Four Poker Machines, Club Keno, Dart board and Pool Table.
Three synthetic Tennis Courts with Sports lounge and shower facilities.
Our Dining Room with (volunteer) end of month meals. This room is also the main facility in town which can seat up to 100 for special functions, seminars, meetings and celebrations.
Our community Club takes pride in its outback hospitality and friendly atmosphere. New members are always welcome.
Social Bowls: Thursday’s at 10.00 am, two games, drawn cards.
Wanted : New Bowlers, even middle aged and old Bowlers – Ever tried bowling ?
